The frog's life cycle consists of three stages: the egg, the larva, and the adult frog. It passes through these stages through a process called metamorphosis. 

The frog is not the only animal that undergoes this transition, but it is passed by all other amphibians , And hormones control prolactin, and thyroxine in the process.

There are more than 300 species of toads. These sorts of frogs (amphibians) have squat bodies with short rear legs for strolling as opposed to bouncing. They have warty and dry skin,
usually preferring dryer climates. They also have poison glands behind their eyes.
